The domain registration for mindlondon.com is soon to expire. As the Mind! event is not expetced to resume, there doesn’t seem to be any sense in renewing the registration.
However, before the registration expires, I’m moving the site to a subdomain of subpixels.com for posterity and offering to transfer the domain to Mind (mind.org.uk), the National Association for Mental Health in the UK.

I’ve just spent some time playing the numbers, tweaking the knobs – y’know, monkey wrenching about under the bonnet of the website – to bring you an improved viewing experience! The text should now much easier to read, titles are laid out better, there’s less wasted space in the header, and I’ve also put our new logo at the bottom of each page. Sweet beans.
I’ve also been working on some new visuals, some of which you will likely see tonight if you come down to The Dogstar.

Okay, so this isn’t an independent review, but is a review in that it is looking back at the night. Hopefully this gives you some idea of what the night looks and sounds like if you haven’t been down to check it out for yourself yet. :o)
I have designed a flier to spread the news that Mind! is now on every Wednesday night at The Dogstar. I’ve also created the Flyer page on the site to host whatever the current flyer is, since the design may be altered at a later date.
If it’s Wednesday and you’re in Brixton, The Dogstar is the place to be. After discussion with management, Mind! is now going to be every week, so no more confusion over the dates.
Better yet, the cover charge has been removed, so entry is free!
This front page was feeling a little bare with just one lonely post, so here is a friendly neighboring post. The video clip is new graphics I created a couple of days ago. Expect to see it used in the live visuals mix next week!
